The huge hedges of sage bushes and their scent gave us the idea of producing a salvia soap with a layer of sage granules.
This soap is ideal for relaxing and unwinding. Skin and tissue are relaxed with real sage and cold-pressed wheat germ oil. The ingredients of the finely ground sage can be absorbed into the skin every time you shower. The salvia soap has a pleasant scratching effect on your skin and at the same time feels very smooth. The fresh and herbaceous scent also provides pleasant relaxation for the senses and calms the mind. Give yourself and your skin a break!
Cold-pressed olive oil: has a moisturizing effect and moisturizes dry skin, it works against wrinkles and supports the healthy function of the skin, olive oil protects against skin-damaging UV radiation and can therefore prevent premature skin aging
Cold-pressed wheat germ oil: it provides a particularly intensive supply of poorly supplied and pale skin, the vitamin E it contains not only nourishes the skin and hair, but also has a positive effect on health: the reason for this is the unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins that are important for our body and minerals
Cold-pressed linseed oil: is a moisturizing skin care oil for the face and body with a skin-protecting effect, the oil is absorbed deeply into the skin and is suitable for daily care, it has a skin-caring effect when used externally for skin inflammation, acne or eczema and especially for dry skin
Coconut oil: cleanses the pores of the skin and nourishes them, has an antibacterial effect (good against acne), prevents wrinkles and is said to reduce them, relieves inflammation through moisture and softens the skin
Cold-pressed castor oil: a true all-rounder: it cares for skin, hair and even nails, stimulates collagen production and thus acts against premature skin aging, it gives the hair a healthy shine and makes it soft, fingernails should be strengthened
Beeswax: nature's power substance for the skin contains a particularly high amount of vitamin A and thus provides valuable protection for the skin, it helps the skin with cell regeneration and keeps it firm and elastic, thus preventing dryness and facial wrinkles
Iron oxide: covers impurities in cosmetics. Without iron, blood formation and oxygen transport to the cells would not be possible. The mineral is found in the body and ensures a “rosy” complexion. Iron oxide, the combination of oxygen and iron, stimulates skin regeneration and provides well-adhering color pigments for mineral make-up, thereby perfectly covering impurities
Sage granules: real sage helps very well against oily and large-pored skin, its essential oils have an antibacterial, disinfectant, invigorating, anti-inflammatory and sweat-regulating effect, particularly good effects on the hair and scalp, sage is a valuable medicinal plant for inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa as well as various digestive problems
Ylang Ylang essential oil, natural: Cananga odorata (Comoros), note: the scent of natural essential oils can evaporate quickly
Natural cedar wood essential oil: Cedrus deodara wood oil, note: the scent of natural essential oils can evaporate quickly
The pH value indicates the acidity of a liquid. The scale goes from 0 to 14. Liquids with a pH value of 7 are neutral – e.g. water. Liquids with a pH value below 7 are called acidic. If the pH value is above 7, the liquid is alkaline. The skin of the human body has a pH value of 5.5 – slightly acidic. Lemon juice has a pH value of 2.
A soap has a very high pH value during production. For this reason, the soap must be aged for a few weeks before use. Only then does the pH value level out in the alkaline range, usually between 9 and 10. When washing, the pH value of the soap neutralizes even further and thereby helps the skin to deacidify. This is exactly why homemade soaps are also very suitable for skin diseases.
